Frequently Asked Questions

What Do You Do?

We research the issues, collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data; synthesize the findings, and report the results. In other words, we study your issue, we analyze information, identify trends, and then we tell the story to you and your audiences to recast existing perceptions with emerging reality.

Where Are You Located?

Our office is Arlington, Virginia, but we have an established network of highly skilled professionals across the U.S.

What’s Special About Your Work?

We believe that the solutions to most problems already exist but these answers may be located in less-than-obvious locations. We are particularly skilled in finding these solutions by actively searching for benchmarks across seemingly disparate industries.

We have the broad vision to see the issue in the context of the environment. And we have the focus to see the details that make your issues unique.

We’re especially adept at telling you (and others) the story of what we’ve found. Different individuals perceive the world differently and we aim to tell to tell the story of what the issue looks-tastes-feels-smells-feels like.

Who Are You?

We’re a new, majority-woman owned firm founded by Karen Sherwood, MBA, MS, and Patrick McMahon, MBA, CPA, focusing on health insurance, health care, and health services delivery. We bring decades of experience in helping clients respond to issues by moving simple identification of symptoms to deep understanding of the underlying issues and opportunities. We work to enhance our clients understanding of the environment in which they operate, their customers, and themselves so that actions and expectations are aligned to yield results.

Oh, so You’re Just two people?

Yes and No. “Yes” because we just launched the firm in a challenging environment so Karen and Patrick currently comprise Indelytix. “No” because Indelytix was founded using the “virtual company “model. We already have close working relationships with numerous professionals with legal, accounting, economic, financial, policy, and database expertise. The virtual company model allows us to form a team of the right people at the right time with the right skills for the project.
